The industrial LED Highbays are mainly used to illuminate large covered spaces, such as industrial warehouses, which due to their high ceiling height, are going to demand intense light to carry out the work carried out inside comfortably and safely.

About Industrial LED High Bays
Due to the dimensions and power of LED Highbays, they are ideal for replacing the old discharge lamps installed in industrial buildings, as they take up much less space and offer higher quality lighting with lower consumption.
Within the industrial highbays we can find different types depending on their shape, round highbays (UFO) or linear, or their performance (adjustable, with motion sensor, etc...).
This type of industrial highbay has a circular shape that spreads the light evenly around a circumference. In addition, you can choose different angles of amplitude, depending on the space in which you want to use it, for example:
If the workplace is in a narrow area, such as the aisles of an industrial building where forklift trucks and operators pass through, we can choose between 30º and 60º of opening.
If, on the other hand, it is an open space such as a workshop where the ceilings are high, the work is at a considerable distance and a lot of lighting is required in almost all parts of the hall, angles of between 90° and 120° are desirable.
Also, the latter type of opening could be used in commercial spaces, sports facilities, etc...
There are two types of regulation of UFO highbays:
One of the components that we can add to our bells is the motion sensor so that it is self-sufficient and, depending on the configuration that we give it, it turns on or adjusts to a higher intensity when we pass near it.
Over the years, new technologies, apart from our homes, have reached the tertiary sector, making it a more autonomous system.
The UFO highbays include Zigbee protocols that work with WiFi, Bluetooth, etc... to be able to control it from our smartphone and program it with the different options offered by the different compatible applications.
An example of these systems would be the Zigbee protocol with which our UFO Smart Bells work. For correct operation of the UFO we will need to connect it to a gateway that will communicate with the router to which we are connected via WiFi.
There are two types of Gateway, those that connect to the router via WiFi and those that connect via a network cable, the latter will have greater reliability and less signal loss.
Once we have connected the router to the gateway and the gateway to the UFO bell, we can control them in groups or individually from our smartphone.
Another type of industrial highbay is the linear hood. They have a rectangular shape that distributes the light linearly and at a wide angle.
These linear bells can be dimmable 1-10V and non-dimmable.
There are a multitude of spaces in which the LED highbay can be used, and most of them have IP65 protection or higher, so they can also be used outdoors or in wet areas.
The use of industrial highbays occurs in very large spaces in the tertiary sector, mainly industrial buildings where different activities are carried out, such as: assembly lines, factories, workshops, warehouses...
In addition, there are industrial buildings used for sports activities that are open-plan spaces in which industrial LED Highbays are used due to their height.
