Artemide's history

Artemide sees the light in 1960 at the hands of Ernesto Gismondi, an aerospace engineer and natural designer from Sanremo. Today, the Italian firm headquartered in Pregnana Milanese is present in more than 98 countries.

Since Alfa, the first lamp designed by the signature and work of the Italian designer Sergio Mazza, good work and innovation have been part of Artemide's hallmarks. This first lamp has been followed by many others throughout its history that have become icons of contemporary design.
