Description

The Universal 1-10V LED Dimmer Switch is a professional-grade device designed to control luminaires and drivers compatible with the 1-10V dimming protocol. It allows for fine, linear adjustment of light intensity through a rotary potentiometer, making it ideal for installations requiring precise, smooth, flicker-free dimming. It installs easily in standard 86x86 mm wall boxes and is compatible with frames from well-known manufacturers such as Schneider, JUNG, Elko, Niko, or Busch-Jaeger, ensuring a perfect aesthetic and functional integration.

How the 1-10V System Works

This dimmer emits an analog output signal between 1 and 10 volts, with a maximum current of 50 mA, allowing the dimming of equipment designed for this type of control. Unlike TRIAC phase-cut systems, the 1-10V signal provides continuous, stable regulation without waveform distortion, preventing flicker or level jumps even at low brightness levels.

Control is performed via a precision rotary potentiometer, and the unit includes a minimum brightness adjustment to customize the behavior of the driver or luminaire—ensuring that the light source never drops below its minimum operating threshold.

Switching Circuit and Power Control

In addition to the dimming signal, the dimmer includes an integrated relay (L, LO) rated up to 6 Amps, which allows for direct switching of the luminaire’s power supply. This simplifies installation by enabling the driver’s power to be cut off while simultaneously controlling its output level through the 1-10V channel.
