Description

The Recessed PIR Motion Sensor 360º is a device designed to automate lighting based on occupancy, providing significant energy savings and a high level of comfort in indoor spaces. Its recessed format and discreet design allow it to integrate seamlessly into false ceilings, both in residential and commercial environments.

Technology and Operation

This sensor uses PIR (Passive Infrared) technology, capable of detecting variations in infrared radiation caused by human movement. It offers a 360º detection field with a maximum range of 6 meters and a recommended installation height between 2.2 and 4 meters. The timer is adjustable from 10 seconds ± 3 sec to 7 minutes ± 2 min, allowing users to customize the light duration. Light sensitivity is also adjustable from <10 lux to 2000 lux, adapting to different ambient lighting levels.

Installation and Compatibility

Compatible with 220V AC systems, it supports loads of up to 300W for LED lighting. Its standby power consumption is minimal (approximately 0.5W). Installation is simple using side-mounted spring clips for secure fit in false ceilings. The wiring is connected via protected internal terminal blocks. Its design allows for discreet and safe integration into any indoor environment.

Advanced Functions

The sensor can differentiate between day and night using the ambient light sensitivity setting. It can be configured to activate only when natural light is insufficient, optimizing energy consumption. The built-in timer resets with each new detection, ensuring lighting remains on as long as movement is detected in the area.

Ideal for automating lighting in hallways, common areas, lobbies, entrances, bathrooms, storage rooms, offices, utility rooms, and garages. Particularly recommended for intermittently used spaces where automation contributes to more efficient energy use and greater user convenience.
