PMMA Diffuser: Optical Stability and Longevity

Unlike other common plastic materials such as PS or PC, this panel features a diffuser made of PMMA (Polymethylmethacrylate), a polymer known for its high transparency and thermal stability. PMMA does not yellow over time, maintaining optimal light transmission throughout the product’s lifespan. This ensures homogeneous, stable light without loss of quality, even in high-use environments.

TPa Rating: Fire Safety

The panel is designed according to the TPa fire rating, meaning the diffuser materials meet the most stringent fire reaction standards under British regulations (BS 2782). This classification is especially valued in public buildings, healthcare, and administrative environments where it is necessary to limit fire spread in suspended ceilings. TPa ensures the diffuser does not contribute to a fire in case of an incident, providing a higher level of passive safety.
