The Manual-Locking Frame with Cover Plate, Schuko Socket Base, and RJ45 Connector Slot SIMON K45 KFH111/72 is part of Simon’s updated range of waterproof floor boxes, designed for installation in raised access floors and pavements, both indoors and outdoors. This solution is intended for professional setups that require accessibility, protection, and robust performance in both power and data connections — all with a refined design and reliable installation.

Robust Design for Demanding Installations

Made of high-strength stainless steel, the unit is designed to ensure IP66 water and dust protection when the lid is closed, capable of withstanding pressurized water jets from any angle. It also resists loads of up to 1,500 kg and has an IK08 impact resistance rating, making it a solid choice for areas with moderate to heavy foot traffic such as offices, shopping centers, hospitals, logistics hubs, or industrial spaces.

Functionality and Versatile Connectivity

This model includes a Schuko socket and a RJ45 Keystone-type connector slot, offering a seamless combination of power and data. The internal layout maintains proper cable bending radius, which is especially important for high-performance voice and data installations like CAT6 or CAT6A networks. It’s compatible with any standard RJ45 connector, making it easy to integrate into structured cabling systems.

Manual Locking System and Smart Accessories

The frame includes a manual locking system that is easy to operate and secure, maintaining protection and preventing accidental tampering. The range also supports functionality upgrades through optional accessories such as:

KFA1001: Allows active connections with the lid closed, maintaining IP54 protection during use.
KFA1003: Enables leveling of the box on uneven floors.
KFA1002: Allows multiple units to be linked together for modular installations.

Tool-Free Installation: K45 System

The Simon K45 series stands out for its fast installation. The direct clipping system for devices and enclosures eliminates the need for tools or additional components, reducing installation time and improving on-site efficiency. The box is compatible with a wide range of solutions — including power, multimedia, differential protection, and control — without the need for modifications, making it an extremely flexible option for modern installations.
