RUILON 10kV Surge Protector is designed for outdoor LED lighting, LED street lights power SPD: TAL22010
TAL22010 is designed to protect the LED driver and could be connected perfectly with its input port. This product is sealed, waterproof and dustproof designed, with a protection grade of IP67. This protector belongs to the SPD Type III.
It is important to protect our LED lights from high energy electrical discharges that are transmitted to the lights themselves or to the electricity grid. High energy electrical discharges consist of electrical noise created by other electrical devices that are connected on the same electrical network such as motors, industrial equipment, electrical flashovers, lightning striking nearby electrical networks or buildings and transferring high electrical energy to the luminaires.
Depending on the application, when purchasing and installing outdoor LED lights, it is imperative that this new LED lighting solution is equipped with a surge protection device.
