The SIMON K45 KGT100RF/72 IP66 Floor Box for Installation in Recessed Floors is designed to provide a watertight, safe, and aesthetically integrated solution in commercial, technical, or corporate environments that use raised or technical flooring. Its compact and robust design allows the integration of K45 series electrical and data devices, offering a clean and accessible installation without compromising protection against dust or liquids.

Technical design and durable materials

With dimensions of 148 x 148 x 81 mm and suitable for installation in cutouts of 125 x 125 mm, this box features a stainless-steel beveled top frame that precisely conceals floor cutouts, ensuring a clean and professional finish. The structure is made of halogen-free, self-extinguishing thermoplastic, complying with the strictest fire safety standards, as it reduces both flame propagation and the emission of toxic fumes in case of emergency.

Quick and watertight installation

Thanks to its integrated claw-fixing system, a firm anchoring is guaranteed without the need for additional elements, simplifying on-site installation. Its IP66 protection rating ensures excellent performance against splashes, liquids, or the ingress of particles, even when installed in high-traffic floors or areas exposed to water cleaning. It is especially suitable for technical rooms, corporate environments, data centers, showrooms, retail spaces, or customer service areas where connections must always remain accessible yet protected.

Compatibility with the K45 series

The box is fully compatible with the Simon K45 range of KFH1xx/xx support frames, allowing the integration of power, voice, data, multimedia, or signalling devices. This modular flexibility makes the system a versatile tool for customised configurations depending on project requirements. To complete the installation, it must be combined with a frame and watertight cover from the K45 series, available as accessories.

Maintenance and finish

Maintenance is simple: just clean with a soft, dry cloth to preserve both functionality and the aesthetic finish of the steel. The bevelled surface not only enhances the overall appearance but also allows for easy passage over it without interference or tripping, maintaining the ergonomics of the raised flooring.
