Description

The Polyethylene heat-shrink tube has a high shrinkage ratio of 3:1 and is 1 meter in length. It is ideal to cover irregular or complex shapes thanks to its capacity to shrink to a third of its original size. The adhesive liner in this tube, when melted, provides a watertight seal, which encapsulates the cable joints.

Applications include the following:

• Watertight encapsulation and sealing of cable joints.
• Electrical insulation.
• Environmental protection against moisture, dust and chemicals.
• Mechanical protection against abrasions on cables and small parts.
• Pull protection at the cable and connector joints to prevent damage caused by bending.
• Grouping and organisation of cables and pipes.
• Colour coding of cables and components.

This kit includes 4 Units with the following sizes:

  • 4 x 24mm and 1m in length
  • 4 x 18mm and 1m in length 
  • 4 x 9mm and 1m in length
  • 4 x 3mm and 1m in length
