The Battery SAJ AS1 Retrofit for Solar Inverter Conversion into Hybrid 5.1 kWh is a perfect solution for retrofitting photovoltaic installations that already have a grid-connected inverter installed. This device converts a previously non-hybrid inverter into a hybrid inverter. For example, if you already have an inverter that could only feed into the grid, don't hesitate for a moment, install this converter with integrated battery and start charging the battery with the surplus production of your solar system. This battery has everything you need to communicate with a multitude of compatible inverters and convert them into hybrid inverters.

In a hybrid PV system during the day, the electricity generated by the solar panels will first be supplied to the consumers and the surplus energy will charge the battery. If there is more energy left over, it is fed into the grid. During the night or on cloudy days the system will draw power from the battery. This type of solar installations with batteries are very interesting and pay off in a few years because they provide great savings in the consumption of the house. Good ventilation must be ensured in the installation area, as insufficient ventilation can affect the performance of the internal electronic components and shorten the life of the system.
