Description

3M Dual Lock fasteners consist of plastic strips with tiny mushroom-shaped connectors on one side and pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. They are designed to connect to each other for a bond up to 5 times stronger than conventional Velcro, capable of replacing mechanical fasteners. They can also be stapled to wood or sewn to any type of canvas. It solves fastening problems without the need for special tools or complicated mechanical fastening systems.

Once glued, the interlocking mushroom-shaped strands can withstand force just like screws and rivets, except they detach easily for quick and easy access. Versatile, durable and invisible, there is no limit to the number of uses for these locking systems. Hidden from view when engaged, these systems provide a clean, smooth surface and maintain their strength after over 1000 opening and closing cycles.

Very durable adhesion and can be applied to a multitude of surfaces including paint, metal, and most plastics (except polyethylene and polypropylene). It is noted for its resistance to a high temperature range of -29°C to +93°C and conditions of 0% to 100% relative humidity and good impact resistance from -6°C to 70°C.
