Are all LED strips dimmable?

No. For an LED strip to be dimmable, the strip itself, the control system and the power supply must all be compatible with dimming. Not all LED strips allow brightness adjustment.

Does dimming affect light quality?

When the system is properly designed, dimming does not negatively affect light quality. On the contrary, it allows lighting to be adapted to each situation and improves visual comfort, as long as compatible, high-quality components are used.

Can you dim an LED strip and keep the same colour?

Yes. With dimmable strips, especially white light or RGB/RGBW systems, it is possible to adjust brightness while maintaining the same colour or colour temperature, without noticeable changes when increasing or decreasing brightness.

What is the difference between basic dimming and smart dimming?

Basic dimming allows manual brightness adjustment using a dimmer or remote control. Smart dimming, on the other hand, allows brightness to be controlled from a smartphone, scenes to be created, schedules to be set and lighting to be automated, offering a much more flexible experience.
