Description

The Outdoor 240º Twilight & PIR Motion Sensor with Remote IP65 is a passive infrared (PIR) sensor is designed for outdoor installations where efficient lighting control based on motion and ambient light is needed. With a wide 240º detection angle and a range of up to 12 meters, it effectively covers large areas such as entrances, patios, or garage driveways. It also includes a multi function remote control, making setup easy without the need to physically access the device.

Advanced Technical Features

This sensor operates on 220–240V AC and can handle loads up to 1000W for LED lighting or 2000W for incandescent. It includes an adjustable timer (from 10 seconds to 30 minutes) and a dusk sensor with adjustable sensitivity ranging from 10 to 500 LUX, allowing the lighting to respond to ambient light levels.

Its smart operation resets the countdown timer each time new movement is detected within the set interval. The sensor only activates lighting when both motion is detected and ambient light is low — optimising energy usage.

Full Control via Remote

The included remote control allows you to adjust detection sensitivity (LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH), timing (10s to 30min), and daylight sensitivity for activation (<10 LUX to 24-hour mode). It also allows manual activation or deactivation of the sensor and the connected lighting, and to switch between modes such as P&S (Presence & Sunlight). Each setting is selected with a clear button press, making adjustments easy even for high or hard-to-reach installations.

Simple and Safe Installation

Wiring is done via a terminal block with clearly labelled inputs and outputs: L and N for power, and output A for the load. Installation is quick and safe, whether on a flat wall or in corners, thanks to its versatile bracket and guided installation steps.

Built for Demanding Outdoor Environments

With an IP65 protection rating, this sensor is resistant to water and dust, making it suitable for harsh weather conditions. It operates in a temperature range of -20 to +40 ºC, ideal for outdoor areas, driveways, parking lots, gardens, or industrial access points.

*Maintain a minimum distance of 60 cm between the sensor and any lighting fixture over 60W to avoid false triggers. Do not install facing heat sources or highly reflective surfaces.
