An LED driver is responsible for transforming the alternating current from the mains into direct current suitable for making the LED chips shine. To find out if a driver is going to work with our luminaire, PCB or panel, we must consult the voltage and output current of the driver.

Characteristics of the 220-240V LIFUD Dimmable DALI NO Flicker Driver 25-42V Output 1100-1500mA 63W LF-GSD060YC

It is able to withstand line voltage surges and dips for a short period of time without damage. In addition, its output is also multi-voltage which means that it can deliver a constant voltage within a range allowing the same driver to be used for various applications with different current and voltage requirements. This driver allows us to control the luminaire via the DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) system. DALI is a common interface that allows us to dim, program on/off, automate and generate timers. A DALI network consists of a DALI controller and one or more DALI Drivers. This is useful for saving energy and adapting to different scenarios. Its power factor is very high, making it a very efficient driver.
